School Information

Our History

Providence Elementary School was opened in the fall of 1986 in suburban Chesterfield County, Virginia. We teach students from PreK to fifth grade and our student population is around 650. We are a Title I school and we ensure academic excellence for all of our students.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of Providence Elementary School is to work in partnership with students, families and the community to ensure that each student acquires the knowledge, skills and core values necessary to achieve personal success and to enrich the community.

Our students recite our Providence Pledge every morning during the announcements:

Today is a new day.
What I do is up to me.
I have a chance to shine.
I will be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn in every way.
This will be a great day!

Bell Schedule

9:10 a.m.: Buses and Parent drop-off begin unloading
Breakfast served

9:25 a.m.: Tardy bell rings

3:55 p.m.: Dismissal begins

4:10 p.m.: Buses Depart
