The CCPS Food and Nutrition Services team is serving up food and fun each week at the Chesterfield Farmers Market (6701 Mimms Loop). Join us July 16 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. to get a taste of this menu:
Entree: Scratch-made French toast casserole with berry sauce (Agriberry) and local pork sausage patty (Papa Weaver's Pork)
Sides: Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes (Jackson Family Farms) and Local peaches (Agriberry)
Beverage: Fresh white or chocolate milk
Kids under 18 eat free. Adults may purchase a meal for $9 — cash or check only.
This week, Miriam Thomas from Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom will be offering fun, hands-on activities for children to learn through play and discover the exciting world of agriculture.
